Ashlynn at 7

It's hard for me to think of how to describe our little Ashlynn Rose because she is kind of all over the place.  She's having a great school year, loves her teacher and has fun classmates.  She seems to play with everyone, or play by herself.  She has never really been concerned with who her friends are, or how many friends she has.  She loves playing with our neighbor Lila, and friends she talks about at school are Olivia and Teagan.
She loved cheer camp this year, and loves dancing and doing gymnastics at home.  She seems like she needs exercise to settle her down, we notice a difference at night if she hasn't had the chance to be outside in the afternoons.  Soccer has been great for her this year, she loves it.

She really wishes we would get her a dog, she's just going to have to continue loving on her aunties dogs
for her bday this year she said she wanted to swim with her sisters.  So, we surprised them with a weekend at the coast where they swam all day.  We got her this Bop It game and she loves it.
She LOVES being at the beach

She's also kind of our wild child.  We're never really sure what we're going to get with her.  She can be so so stubborn, and really make things hard sometimes.  And she can be really really easy and caring and helpful - I haven't figured out what flips her switch though.  She's usually the one that is confident and making us all laugh

Farkle has been her favorite game lately, she loves when anyone will sit down and play a game with her

Winter pics

We always love going to the Beavers games

I wasn't thinking ahead when I bought tickets for the last one we went to, it was on our 10th wedding anniversary.  So, we celebrated with bowling, sushi, and the game. It ended up being a really fun day, I just felt bad it didn't even cross my mind until a few days before the game.

We had our first broken bone
Pruning the orchard when we get a few decent days

The girls are liking basketball, they don't want to say they love it because they say they LOVE soccer, and they aren't quite there with basketball yet.  It's fun for me that they like it

notice the background in the picture below

They spend so much time playing with the Legos still, hours when we are home on a rainy day.  The below picture is of their Lego girls having a concert
and the last basketball picture compared to the background in this picture!
when it's cold and they aren't playing Legos they are playing some sport in the house, it drives me nuts as much as I love it

Snow Days

The girls had fun on the couple of snow days we got this year, and I had fun going out to take a few pictures then coming back in the house. It was barely enough to sled but if they pushed each other enough they could get a little speed down our hill.

It's so nice that where we live we still have neighbors close enough for the kids to walk back and forth to play

The last few pictures were last week, March!  We woke up to all of this snow and it was mostly gone by noon, it was a nice two hour delay to start our week.

The below picture is a common scene at the bottom of our driveway when it snows.  People have to get to work early at the top of our hill and most can't make it up, so we watch them slide back down and park until the plow comes.
